VIP movement in hospitals should not affect COVID patient treatment: Anil Vij goes to Senior Medical Managers

Chandigarh : Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday said all Chief Medical Officers should ensure that treatment and admission of Covid patients were not affected during the movement of VIPs in the hospitals.

The first priority was the patients and their treatment, Vij tweeted. 

The tweet was posted in the wake of Thursday's incident at Jind Civil hospital when two patients had to wait outside the hospital during the visit of the chief minister at Jind Civil hospital as the police had restricted the entry in the hospital for some time.

Later, the chief minister himself called the CMO and directed him that the patient should not get affected in the name of security protocols.
