Farmers Block KMP On Way On April 10, Hold March March in Parliament in May

New Delhi : In an effort to strengthen the ongoing protest against new agricultural laws, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has announced that farmers will block the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) route on April 10 for 24 hours and hold a march to Parliament in May.

Launching its two-month plan, SKM, a 32-member farmers 'union, said it would organize' FCI (Food Corporation of India) Bachao Diwas 'on April 5 to be marked' by the girao of FCI offices across the country.

The foot march will be joined not only by farmers, but also by women, the unemployed and workers who supported the protest, SKM said.

It also said that farmers would celebrate the Isisakhi festival on the border of Delhi on April 13, and the next day, which is the birthday of Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Samvidan Bachao Divas (Constitutional Day of Conservation).

Thousands of farmers have been camping on the Delhi border since November last year, demanding the abolition of new farm regulations.
