Chandigarh : Highly concerned about Covid's new explosion, Punjab Prime Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday ordered major state restrictions starting on Saturday, with the closure of educational institutions until March 31 and the cinema / mall power limits.

All educational institutions, with the exception of medical and nursing colleges, will remain closed until March 31, when 50 percent of cinema halls will be closed and no more than 100 people will be in the mall at any one time.

The Chief Minister called on the district administration to involve the entire community, as well as the market committees and the sarpanches, in this process, which will always be voluntary.
