Srinagar : The security forces seized a large quantity of ammunition and ammunition, including five AK rifles, in the vicinity of the Line of Control in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, an army official said on Monday.

"With great success in the security forces deployed in Karnah, a great recovery was achieved on Sunday due to the high level of vigilance of soldiers and police," the official said.

He said security personnel launched the operation on the basis of intelligence and found five AK rifles and seven firearms with several magazines and ammunition.

"The operation was carried out near the Line of Control in the village of Dhanni directly under the control of the Pakistani military in Lipa Valley," the official said. PTI
