Chandigarh : Former India striker and captain Sachin Tendulkar has been tested for Covid-19. "I was tested for the virus following negative symptoms. Everyone else at home was tested negative," Tendulkar wrote on twitter on Saturday.

Wishes for a speedy recovery were soon poured out on the young king.

COVID-19 cases have been on the rise in Maharashtra and Mumbai with more than 36,000 admission cases filed on Friday.

Tendulkar recently took part in the Road Safety World Series Challenge veteran tournament in Raipur.

He led the Indian team to victory in this tournament.
