Washington : United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen conducted a telephone interview with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in which she praised India's role in the fight against the covid epidemic and discussed the global economic Media.

Sitharaman congratulated Yellen on Covid's well-thought-out US $ 1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, which focuses on performance and moderation. They agreed that they would work together on economic and strategic partnerships in various sectors, including the G20. PTI
