Jalandhar : A sudden explosion outside the headquarters of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Jalandhar on Wednesday triggered panic in the area and raised serious security concerns. Initial reports suggest that an explosive device was allegedly planted inside a dustbin near the premises, leading to the blast.

According to local authorities, the explosion occurred during the day in a relatively busy zone near the BSF establishment. While the intensity of the blast was reported to be low to moderate, it was enough to create a loud sound, causing alarm among residents and passersby. Fortunately, no casualties or major injuries have been reported so far, though a few people nearby were said to be shaken by the incident.
