Karnal/Ambala : On a call given by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha to ghearao houses of BJP-JJP MLAs and MPs across Haryana, a large number of farmers assembled in Karnal grain market against the postponing of paddy procurement.

Through the SKM call, farmers in Haryana protested against the postponement of the purchase of the padThey will move to the CM camp office in Prem Nagar to gherao it.

Meanwhile, farmers in Ambala City are marching towards the residences of BJP MLA Aseem Goel with their paddy-laden tractor-trollies. A heavy police force has been deployed and barricades installed to stop farmers in Ambala City.

Farmers claim they want to hold a peaceful protest to mark their resentment against non-procurement of paddy.

While in Shahbad in Kurukshetra, farmers are holding a protest in front of JJP MLA Ramkaran Kala’s house.

Another group of farmers reached near the residence of Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs Sandeep Singh to hold a demonstration.
