Hisar : A teenager, Ritika Phogat, a cousin of famous boxers Geeta and Babita Phogat, allegedly committed suicide at their residence on Monday night.

Local sources say Ritika Phogat, 17, was reportedly worried as she lost in the final of a wrestling tournament in Rajasthan recently by a narrow line.

He has competed in the state competition in Bharatpur between March 12 and 14

He had been staying at Geeta and Babita's residence to receive training under the tutelage of his uncle Mahavir Phogat. He was going to sleep in his room on Monday night and was found hanging from a ceiling on Tuesday morning, sources said.

The Dronacharya Award Mahavir Phogat trained his daughters Geeta, Babita and his nephew Vinesh at his wrestling school in their hometown of Balali district in Charkhi Dadri district.
