Amritsar : Between the Covid speaker, the Prime Minister of Delhi and AAP facilitator Arvind Kejriwal arrived at Amritsar on his flight before proceeding to Kisan Maha Sammelan which is planned for the Baghapurana ammunition market in Moga.

Prior to his visit, AAP boards and collections were removed by public officials during office hours when officials had to deal with the wrath of AAP staff. They raised slogans against public administrat
ion.

However, Kejriwal was welcomed by AAP Punjab head Bhagwant Mann at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee Airport.

Thanking the Punjab farmers for leading the struggle against the three farm laws imposed by the Center government, Kejriwal said the AAP always stood up for the farm. “For the past several months, Punjab farmers have been leading protests from the beginning against the farm rules. I am here to attend a maha sammelan for farmers to show solidarity with them ”, he said.

Mann said the 2022 parliamentary elections were still a long way off and the maha sammelan should not be defeated.

“The AAP aims to strengthen the farmers' struggle and has nothing to do with the next vote. When Arvind Kejriwal jee speaks, Modi-government listens to him. The reason is that it was only the AAP team that made them win three times. We aim to address the cause of farmers and awaken Modi government with agricultural problems, ”he said.

Asked about the health guidelines and restrictions imposed by the Congress-led state government on holding a post-Covid trial, Mann said, "Congress has been contesting parliamentary elections and holding rallies in Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Assam. "AAP hosted the event, and so did the farmers? In addition, all arrangements were in place for the Covid-19 health guidelines at the event. Proper sanitation and decontamination procedures were kept there. I, myself, have been tested for Covid," he said.

In removing AAP hoardings by civil authorities here, he said, "Kejriwal will never be removed from the heart and mind of the people by removing boards and collections".
