Balwant Singh Multani case: Ex-DGP Sumedh Saini appears before SIT at Mataur police station

Mohali : Former Punjab DGP Sumedh Saini appeared before a special investigation team (SIT) at the Mataur police station in Mohali around 10 am on Monday.

 

The SIT had earlier gave notice to Saini, asking him to appear in Mataur police station on October 26.

A hearing on Saini’s plea seeking quashing of FIR is scheduled for October 27.

On September 28, Saini had appeared before the Punjab police SIT for the first time in connection with the alleged disappearance of Balwant Singh Multani in 1991.
