Dera Bassi : Three people were killed and at least six are missing after an under-construction house in Dera Bassi town collapsed on Thursday, the police said.

 

Rescuers have recovered three bodies.

According to information, the house of a local was being constructed in Mira Malli area here when the concrete roof collapsed all of a sudden. The house owner is feared to be trapped inside.

The administration officials are present on the spot. They, along with the locals and the NDRF, are carrying out rescue work. 

The officials said more people could be trapped inside.
