SC dismisses bail plea of Tarn Taran blast case accused |
New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the bail plea of pro-Khalistani group member Malkit Singh alias Shera, one of the accused in connection with the Tarn Taran blast last in September last year.
A Bench led by Justice NV Ramana dismissed the plea of Shera who had sought bail on medical grounds, contending that he was diabetic.
The NIA filed a charge-sheet before a special court in Mohali against nine accused, including Malkit Singh in March this year.

Vikram Singh of Kadgill village and Harpreet Singh of Bachre village were killed in the blast, while one Gurjant Singh lost his eyes in the blast on the outskirts of the Pandori Gola village in Tarn Taran district on September 4, 2018.
Earlier, the Punjab and Haryana High Court an NIA court in Mohali had dismissed his bail plea
