Chandigarh : Actor Rhea Chakraborty has been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe.


The 28-year-old actress has been accused by Sushant's family for playing a role in his death. They claim that she and her family mentally harassed him and took his money.


Rhea, along with her brother Showik Chakraborty, and associate Samuel Miranda reached the DRDO guest house in Mumbai where the CBI team investigating the death case is staying.


This is the eighth day of CBI's investigation at Mumbai.

Showik was questioned by the CBI in Mumbai for 14 hours on Thursday, until midnight.


Sushant's flat-mate Siddharth Pithani has been questioned for seven straight days and has been called on Friday as well.
